From January to October 2025, China's export trade value of medicines and health products exceeded USD 91.1 billion, marking a year-on-year growth of 3.52%. This significantly outperformed the overall import and export growth rate of 1.37% during the same period, fully demonstrating the critical role and irreplaceable position of China's pharmaceutical industry in the global supply chain. During this pivotal phase of China's pharmaceutical sector accelerating its transformation from the "global manufacturing base" to a "global value hub," the "24th CPHI China" and "19th PMEC China" (CPHI & PMEC China 2026) will be grandly held from June 16 to 18 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The exhibition area is expected to exceed 240,000 square meters, attracting over 3,600 high-quality exhibitors globally and more than 110,000 domestic and international visitors. The event will continue to contribute Chinese wisdom and solutions to enhancing global drug accessibility and ensuring supply chain security.
